RapTapes.com interview with Bubba Sparxxx · Sep 9, 03:56 AM by Booty Lover
Recently RapTapes.com managed to catch up with our fav rapper Bubba Sparxxx for a little Q&A, when the interveiwer asked Bubba about an article in The Source magazine where they labled white rappers as culture stealers Bubba Sparxxx cut loose saying
Umm, I think it’s total bullsh**, You know what I mean? White people have always, you know, ever since the beginning of hip-hop, white people have been around hip-hop, so you can’t just, you can’t pick and choose white involvement, you know? And for so long they, you know, the early hip-hop pioneers fought and tried to think of creative ways to market hip-hop and make it more mainstream, so that white buyers would buy hip-hop, you know? And when they do and over a period of 10 years white people listened to it and listened to it and soak up every element of the culture, then they decide they want to participate in the culture, you just can’t, you can’t deny them that right, you know what I mean? You can’t just pick and choose white involvement. You can’t just tell white kids that it’s okay for them to buy it but it’s not okay for them to participate in it.”
While I personally have to say I think its usually funny to see white boys rap I’ve got to say Bubba Sparxxx is definately an exception.

Just a few days ago Purple Ribbon Entertainment was given 4 names to go head to head at the OZONE Magazine Award Show.
One of those names is drum roll please Bubba Sparxxx who is up to recieve the Purple Ribbon Award for “Best Club Banger Track” for his hit single “Ms Newbooty”
Other rappers going up against Bubba Sparxxx include Scar for the “Patiently Waiting out of Mississippi Award (Wft?) and Killer Mike is up for “The Best Lyricist Award”.

Bubba Sparxxx talks about Tupac · Jul 10, 02:02 AM by Booty Lover
Last month SoHood.com had the opportunity to interview superstar rapper Bubba Sparxxx about his album titled “The Charm” set to hit stores Sept 16, 2006. Bubba for the most part just touched on important Hip-hip related issues and he shared his personal thoughts about the two Rap Legends, Tupac and Biggie.
Here is part of the interview
SoHood.com: Who do you feel is the most influential rapper of all-time in Hip-Hop?
Bubba Sparxxx: “Right Now?”
SoHood.com: Both, all-time and current.
Bubba Sparxxx: “There’s no doubt it’s Tupac! I mean everybody got a little Pac in them.” (Laughs)
SoHood.com: Yeah (Laughs)
Bubba Sparxxx: “But then again in the East Coast, I think, Tupac, inspired everybody on the East Coast, everybody down south, everybody in the West Coast you know what sayin’. Tupac inspired everybody or inspired to imitate him even. I think, Biggie, had that affect in New York and maybe some in the South, but I don’t see his influence that much out in the West. I know as far as New York rappers go, you can definitely see a big [Biggie] influence. And I’ll tell you whoelse Outkast as far as Southern rappers.”
SoHood.com: Any upcoming projects?
Bubba Sparxxx: “Me and Lil’ Flip are talkin’ about doing an underground album together.”
SoHood.com: Any last thoughts.
Bubba Sparxxx: “EVERYBODY GET READY! BUBBA IS BACK!!”
