Bubba Sparxxx is keeping it real · Aug 10, 02:06 AM by Booty Lover
“People always ask me, what’s your hobby? explains Bubba Sparxxx ” Relaxing is a hobby of mine”
But whille Bubba may spend his weekdays relaxing at his amazing home in Atlanta, Georgia on the weekend’s he’s usually fireing it up performing at clubs and concert venue’s around North America.
This week he’s been signed to perform at Century II alongside Chingy and Paul Wall as part of the Power 93.9 FM Back to School Bash.
Bubba says “I enjoy visiting with people from markets like Wichita because I’m just a down-home boy myself”
And while he’s not on a big tour schedule this year he does still make time for select appearences like the Back to School Bash and if they help to sell more albums then it’s just gravy.
Speaking of gravy, Bubba Sparxxx’s new love in life is the BBQ
“I’m a grill master,’ he told us. ‘I’ll do tuna, mahimahi, steaks. I have a poppyseed chicken I do.’
While his girlfriend follows the recipes by the book, he said, while he’s more apt to experiment.
Whether he’s mixing it up on the grill or in the studio, Sparxxx’s laid-back approach seems to be working.
‘I always create on my own terms,’ he drawled.
So far, the results have been pretty sweet.

Bubba Sparxxx talks about Tupac · Jul 10, 02:02 AM by Booty Lover
Last month SoHood.com had the opportunity to interview superstar rapper Bubba Sparxxx about his album titled “The Charm” set to hit stores Sept 16, 2006. Bubba for the most part just touched on important Hip-hip related issues and he shared his personal thoughts about the two Rap Legends, Tupac and Biggie.
Here is part of the interview
SoHood.com: Who do you feel is the most influential rapper of all-time in Hip-Hop?
Bubba Sparxxx: “Right Now?”
SoHood.com: Both, all-time and current.
Bubba Sparxxx: “There’s no doubt it’s Tupac! I mean everybody got a little Pac in them.” (Laughs)
SoHood.com: Yeah (Laughs)
Bubba Sparxxx: “But then again in the East Coast, I think, Tupac, inspired everybody on the East Coast, everybody down south, everybody in the West Coast you know what sayin’. Tupac inspired everybody or inspired to imitate him even. I think, Biggie, had that affect in New York and maybe some in the South, but I don’t see his influence that much out in the West. I know as far as New York rappers go, you can definitely see a big [Biggie] influence. And I’ll tell you whoelse Outkast as far as Southern rappers.”
SoHood.com: Any upcoming projects?
Bubba Sparxxx: “Me and Lil’ Flip are talkin’ about doing an underground album together.”
SoHood.com: Any last thoughts.
Bubba Sparxxx: “EVERYBODY GET READY! BUBBA IS BACK!!”
